THE STORY BEHIND GRILLCODE

That is why Grillcode was created.

A personal story about confidence, AI, and rebuilding real understanding.

My confidence suddenly broke.

A few months ago, I started looking for programming jobs on online platforms such as LinkedIn, Fiverr, Upwork, RemoteOK, and We Work Remotely.

I created new accounts, filled in my profile, uploaded my portfolio, and completed all the sign-up requirements. Everything looked ready.

But when it was time to actually apply for jobs, something happened.

My confidence suddenly broke.

I started asking myself, "What if they ask me something in the interview that I cannot answer? What if they ask me to explain simple code, and I cannot explain it properly?"

This feeling was difficult because I was not completely new to programming. I had already built six mobile apps using Flutter. I had worked with Firebase, APIs, Lua scripts, and I had maintained a RedM server for more than two years.

But deep inside, I knew the truth.

I had been relying too much on AI.

AI helped me build faster. AI helped me fix bugs. AI helped me write code. But over time, I started to realize that I did not always fully understand what the AI had written inside my own apps and scripts.

That scared me.

I did not want to become a developer who could only copy, paste, and generate code. I wanted to understand the code again. I wanted to rebuild my foundation. I wanted to be confident enough to explain what I had built, write simple code by myself, and face interviews without fear.

On 29 June 2026, I woke up in the morning with one clear thought:

I need to build a solution for this.

That is why Grillcode was created.

Grillcode is not just another programming documentation website. It is built for developers who want to relearn programming from the basics, understand AI-generated code, and rebuild their confidence step by step.

The goal is simple: help programmers understand what the code really means.

Whether the code was written by you, copied from somewhere, or generated by AI, Grillcode is here to help you break it down, study it, and truly understand it.

Because in the end, AI can help us write code faster.
